The Natural Park is not just the Medes Islands. It is a collection of ecosystems, seabeds and areas, each with their own unique characteristics, which together reflect the richness of the Mediterranean.
Each dive site offers something different: biodiversity, seabeds and geological formations, marine dynamics and species that help us understand the balance of the environment. Diving here is not just an activity; it can be a way of understanding and protecting the sea.

Every area matters
Malica was founded with a clear objective: to transform the way people experience diving in the Natural Park.
We believe that protecting the Mediterranean begins with understanding it. That is why every dive forms part of a journey that combines learning, experience and responsibility. It is not just about diving, but about playing an active role in its conservation.
Our model spreads dives across different areas of the park, highlighting the value of each ecosystem and its potential: school, workshops, research… This is how we promote safe, sustainable diving that is aligned with the protection of the marine environment. Diving is a privilege. Doing so with awareness is a commitment.
The Medes Islands are not the goal. Diving safely and respectfully in the reserve, to preserve this underwater wonder, is the goal.
Before entering the nature reserve, divers must prepare themselves and understand its biodiversity and the fragility of certain species. In this way, diving in the Medes Islands ceases to be merely a spectacular experience and becomes a mindful one. The Nature Reserve is so much more. Malica aims to harness the full potential of the Nature Reserve for a meaningful global conservation project.

Dives and Dive Tours
Malica is designed as a progressive and cyclical series of dives within the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park.
The aim is for each diver to develop naturally, gaining experience, knowledge and confidence to enjoy dives in the Medes Islands, whilst also playing an active role in their conservation.
The programme is organised into different stages depending on the level and location of the dive.
This approach not only enhances safety and the quality of the experience, but also fosters a more mindful and respectful relationship with the marine environment, highlighting the value of all areas of the natural park and the Medes Islands.
