 With the SSI Open Water Diver course, you’ll earn a worldwide-recognized, lifetime-valid certification that allows you to dive up to 18 meters deep anywhere on the planet.

It’s the first step to becoming an autonomous diver, and your gateway to explore the oceans with total freedom.

 At Diving Center La Sirena we train divers to be responsible, confident, and independent. Our philosophy is simple: learn while having fun, and that’s why we’ve designed a complete, dynamic program tailored to each student.

🎓 What will you learn?

 With the guidance of a certified instructor, you’ll dive into a safe and relaxed learning environment. During the course:

• We summarize the 6 chapters of the SSI program in a clear and engaging way.
• You’ll practice pool exercises to build confidence.
• You’ll complete 4 open water dives in the sea, always with personalized attention.
• You’ll learn all about:

  • Buoyancy control
  • Equipment setup and handling
  • Basic physics of diving and its effects on the body

⚠️ Requirements to take this course

• Be 10 years old or older
• Be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water
• Complete a medical questionnaire (a medical certificate may be required in case of doubt)
